Premise:
In the year 2045, the long-silent SETI radio telescopes finally
pick up a signal. It's a transmission from the Alpha Centauri system,
and almost certainly indicative of sentient life.
This monumental discovery spurs both nation-states
and private corporations to fierce scientific competition. The
exponential progress soon leads to mankind's most incredible invention:
the development of faster-than-light travel by the Project Promise
consortium. The ship S.S.V. Promise, equipped with the best technology
and manned by humanity's finest, begins its journey toward Alpha
Centauri and to the source of the signal -- a planet called Legacy.
You are John/Jane Holt, a scientific officer aboard
the Promise. Put into cryogenic sleep for the journey, you awaken on the
surface of an alien planet torn apart by war. With no sign of your
fellow crew, you must use your limited resources and sharp judgment to
survive on a planet 25 trillion miles from home. Your greatest asset is
the Linguistic Integrated Neural Graphic Operations (L.I.N.G.O.) device,
which enables you to interact with the exotic and dangerous creatures
you'll encounter. Can you find your crew and discover the secrets of
Legacy?
This game will be heavily dialogue driven.
Legacy will be a Sprite based RPG, made using RPG Maker.
